The Italian coachbuilder Zagato redraws Aston Martin since 1960 and the latest creation is based on the Vanquish. The model receives a new dress shaped carbon fiber and featuring specific design features to Zagato, like the double hump roof.
For now, this creation is a simple concept, but the model could eventually be produced in small series.
This hair cell arrives for the Concours d’Elegance Villa d’Este in Italy, which starts this weekend around Lake Como. Based on the current Vanquish, this concept is interpreted very “Italian” English cut with a very red identity and convex shapes still displaced in what used to do transalpine bodybuilder. Also note the presence, once again, the double bubble on the typical Zagato flag of certain productions.
Carbon fiber and leather are ubiquitous in the cockpit with bright colors, but the changes are not limited to aesthetics as Zagato “pushed” the 6.0 V12 from 576 to 600 hp. It now remains whether this coupe Zagato produce explosive, but it obviously depends heavily on the public reception this weekend in Italy. Suffice to say that we could talk quickly that Vanquish Zagato Concept.
