The winner? You’d expect the Lambo, right? It has an insane 6.5L V12 engine, rated at 750 hp, while the Tesla has dual motors, capable of 588 hp to the wheels. Easy? WRONG!
The venue was the Palm Beach International Raceway. Thus everyone saw the coolest electric SUV compete against the speed freak that was a variety of Lamborghini. Model X completed the length of the race track in 11.418 seconds.
The Model X beat the Lambo by 0.05 seconds. With a time of 11.418 and a trap speed of 117.85 miles per hour, the Tesla Model X P100D is the world’s quickest sports utility vehicle.
However, the eagle-eyed will see that in the first race, the Lamborghini bogs down at the start and the Model X does not have a full charge.
