Renault-Nissan 350,000 electric vehicles sold


The Renault-Nissan Alliance sold its 100 000th electric vehicle a year globally, setting a new sales record. Since the beginning of the reçues electric vehicles from the manufacturer in 2010, 350,000 zero-emission vehicles were sold and of these, 230 000 are Nissan LEAF, which to this day remains the best selling electric car group in the world.

The largest markets for the Leaf is the United States, Japan and Europe. Renault turn is the most successful brand in Europe in the field of electric vehicles. And ZOE is also the most sold electric vehicles on our continent, with sales up 32% in first half 2016.

With 165,000 passed electric vehicles, 60% of Renault, Europe remains the most dynamic market for the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

In other markets, Nissan announced it has sold more than 96,000 electric vehicles in the US and over 70,000 in Japan. Korea Southern, the Alliance is also present through the partnership between Renault and Samsung SM3 ZE for the equivalent of Fluence which marketing is stopped today.
