Sumit Sawhney, country CEO and managing director, Renault India, told PTI that the launch will take place in the December quarter, but refused to specify whether it could be a Diwali offering.
The Captur measures 4,333 mm in length (211 mm longer than the Europe-spec Captur), 1,813 mm in width (35 mm wider), 1,613 mm in height (47 mm taller) and has a wheelbase of 2,674 mm. Ground clearance stands at 204 mm.
Renault has also announced that it has crossed a milestone in its India innings by boasting 300 outlets in the country. The brand has recently launched ‘Passion on Wheels’, a fully-functional mobile showroom to reach out to the customers in smaller cities and have them experience the Renault brand.
