The Renault Espace is currently available with three engines: two diesels and a gasoline. The latter, a 1.6 hp, of 200 hp, now takes place for a larger and more powerful block: the 225 hp 1.8 TCe. In a slightly more sporty form, it also operates under the hood of the brand new Alpine 110.
Even though we know you’re here for that engine block. The 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol tank with 200 hp (TCe 200) is the front of the 1.8-liter turbobenzine that developed Renault Sport for the Alpine A110. In that sports car, the power source is still well for 250 hp, in the crossover / MPV, that power was screwed back to 225 pieces. The torque is then 300 Nm, 40 units more than the TCe 200.
Furthermore, Renault introduces new equipment in this version. The TCe 225 distinguishes itself from the rest of the range by unique 18 and 19 inch rims and the new paint color “Gris Titanium”. Inside the interior there is a new leather color “Sand Gray” and ventilated chairs. Finally, the Espace is now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the R-Link 2 navigation system. In France, this Espace costs at least 40,600 euros.
