With 70,769 registrations last year in France, the Captur is the second best Renault behind the Clio and the second all categories combined. However, its rival always, the Peugeot 2008, took advantage of its restylage last year to recover part of its delay. To try to take a step ahead in 2017, Renault presents the Captur restyled for the first time in public at the Geneva Motor Show.
C-shaped daytime running lights are visible in the bumper with a specific light signature that can also be found in the rear lights and a chromed bar above the grille recalling the Kadjar Associating with the personalization program that participated in the success of the Captur. Inside, Renault promises a choice of materials and a more careful assembly. Finally, the equipment will of course be updated, be it in terms of multimedia or security systems.
From the third level of equipment, it is possible to opt for a fixed glass roof. Available only in dual-tone configuration, this new feature improves the overall brightness inside the vehicle.
The arrival of this restyled version of the Captur also marks the integration of the high-end finish of Renault: Initiale Paris. The latter offers a leather upholstery and a dashboard with stitching that give a real positive effect.
