FCA announced in the Brazilian market to carry out a recall involving the Fiat 500. According to the brand, 16,193 units (always with manual transmission) must appear back at dealerships because of an identified problem in the clutch system. This is because excessive travel clutch pedal can make it impossible to shift gears and cause loss of traction of the vehicle, with direct consequences on the driveability and safety of the occupants.
For now the brand states that do not have a definitive solution to the problem. Thus, a second call will be held to resolve the situation, but a specific date has not been informed.
