Thanks to a new hood, front bumper and adjustable light units with LED driver lighting, the 308 again fits better with newer family members like the 3008. The brand logo is again a lot more visible due to the positioning in a more vertical grille and therefore no longer on the Hood. Peugeot also mentions the arrival of a new light signature for the rear lights, but photos are waiting for themselves.
As for engines, the renewed model is available with two diesel and gasoline engines. The first diesel is a BlueHDi 180 S & S engine, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there is a BlueHDI 130 S & S four-cylinder diesel and three-cylinder gasoline engine.
Brand new is the 1.5 BlueHDi diesel engine with stop & start. A power source that goes further in the field of exhaust gas treatment. Further specifications are not yet known. Well, Peugeot knows the power source has already been tested during the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The sporty 308 GT gets a 2.0-liter diesel engine for 180 hp, which is linked to an eight-stroke machine. The start / stop system operates from 20 km / h. The new 1.5 BLueHDi debuts in this renewed 308. The four-cylinder launches new emission notifications, which can reduce exhaust emissions.
