The next DS SUV goes without camouflage

While DS has been releasing the news in a few days, its new premium SUV was surprised in the middle of the street totally decamated before its official presentation at the end of February and its first crowd at the Geneva show in early March .

This shot revealed by the blog Citrofeng is the occasion to observe more closely the one that some call already “DS 7”. While the SUV incorporates part of the “DS Wild Rubis” design, the grille and optics are largely inspired by the “Divine” concept. The use of diodes in the front is reminiscent of those displayed on the milling of the DS3. As for the imposing profile, it looks strangely like that of its cousin, the Peugeot 3008. Normal, since technically, the SUV would rest on the PSM platform EMP2.

Under the hood there will be new: it would be about a new 1.5 BlueHDI engine of 130 horsepower, seconded by the 2.0 BlueHDI already proposed currently on DS 5 in 150 and 180 hp.

In essence, no novelty expected: the 3-cylinder 1.2 Puretech 130 will be part, as will the 1.6 THP trimmer that will be offered in two power levels. By 2019, the DS 7 Crossback should also be offered in hybrid version plug in gasoline. An unprecedented motorization, also expected at Peugeot.
