The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2017 price in India is expected to be slotted in the range of INR 4.5 lakh to INR 8 lakh. The next-gen model of the Swift is to be more premium than the model it is going to replace. Hence, expect the prices to be a bit more premium than what they are now.
The all-new Dzire has jumped 5 ranks in order to become the 3rd most selling car of India in June 2017 with 12049 units sold in June. Introduced in this May the 2017 Dzire is the third generation of Maruti Suzuki Dzire which used to have Swift before its name.
At a base price tag of RS 5.45 lakh for the petrol variant, Maruti Suzuki already had 33,000 bookings for the new Dzire before the launch. In May, Dzire was at the 8th place in the most selling cars in India with 9413 units sold that month. Available in 14 variants, Dzire ranges from Rs 5.43 lakh up to Rs 9.39 lakh.
Mr. Raman, however, stressed that while the new advanced safety in vehicles is expected to help bring road fatalities down “the most important safety feature ever invented for a car still remains the old faithful seat belt! All the multiple airbags in a car are useless and, in fact, may cause injuries if the occupants are not belted (including on the rear seat).”
