This is the latest version of the carmaker’s SUV with more interior space and technological features. And between the adaptive cruise control, emergency braking assistance, a lane-keeping system, and blind-spot awareness function, the Expedition should give moms the peace of mind to take their eyes off the road long enough to yell at the seven kids packed into the auto. This 2018 Expedition will be Ford’s first effort on the lineup since approximately 2008.
Frankly the competition still hasn’t caught up with the aluminum F-150, and Ford strikes another blow to the chest with an aluminum Expedition? Yeah we can say that this one will lead the class for quite sometime while the others will scramble to catch up.
Available safety technology includes surround view cameras, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control that works in stop/start traffic, blind spot monitoring, and trailer reversing assistance.
When the new Expedition goes on sale, Ford will hope that its new SUV will steal market share from the GM’s full-size SUVs, which dominate the US market.
