The revolution continues inside with the integration of the instrument panel introduced on the sedan. This innovation is marked by the two 12.3-inch shelves, placed end to end to form a “wide screen”. Like the E-sedan, the coupe incorporates the latest driver assistance technologies, which are a decisive step towards autonomous driving.
Under the front hood, there are known engines. For the launch, the customer will have the choice between three petrol versions: E200 (2.0 turbo of 184 hp), E300 (2.0 turbo of 245 hp) and E400 4MATIC (3.0 V6 supercharged of 333 hp). A variant of diesel will also be part: the E220d, which equips the recent engine 2 liters of 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
At launch, the range will be based on a 194 hp diesel engine and three gasoline engines from 184 to 333 hp. 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission is equipped with all versions. The offer should eventually be enriched with a more powerful diesel block and of course Mercedes-AMG Class E Coupe. They should resume the V8 engine delivering 571 and 612 ch!
The list of options would include the AIR BODY CONTROL air suspension, the highly efficient MAGIC VISION CONTROL sweeping and washing system, and DRIVE PILOT – the manufacturer’s semi-autonomous driving system.
