The entry-level CLA 200 models now come with fixed LED headlamps and a diamond radiator grille as standard, along with ambient lighting, a DAB+ digital radio, Dynamic Select driving modes and the ‘Keyless-Go’ comfort pack as standard.

For the 200 Shooting Brake, an Easy Pack tailgate is also standard, while power for both 200 models comes from a 1.4 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 115kW and 250Nm.

Now, AMG Aerodynamics package is made available as an optional extra, which consists of a larger front splitter, additional flics, a black AMG spoiler lip at the rear plus spoiler lips over the simulated air outlets on each back-side.

New 48.3 cm (19-inch) AMG cross-spoke light-alloy wheels with 235/35 R 19 tyres on 8 J x 19 ET 48 are there for you as an option. There are two colour variants, a matt black or a titanium grey finish, with a high-sheen rim flange.

Zero to 100 km/h is dispatched in 7.3 seconds, and the GLC 250 will go on to a top speed of 222 km/h. Fuel consumption is rated between 6.5 and 7.1 litres per 100 km on the European NEDC cycle.

An AMG sports suspension system is included, lowering the ride height by 15 mm. The Off-Road Engineering Package on the CBU car, which added a Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR) function and Off-road, Incline, Slippery and Trailer selectable driving modes on the Dynamic Select system, has been dropped.
