The 2017 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift looks bolder and more stylish with a lot of new plastic cladding, muscular lines and a prominent chrome grille that further enhances its crossover DNA.
The test mule hid re-designed bumpers both fore and aft. The car was spotted riding on wheels similar in design to the ones sold in India, wrapped in Apollo Allnac tyres. Under the camouflage, the Ciaz facelift hid a new grille as well. Now, this could be a newly designed grille which was first seen on the S-Cross facelift sold in the International market. There are chrome door handlebars visible as well.
Moving towards the redesigned interior, the S-cross facelift will get a reworked dashboard, new upholstery and a new infotainment system encompassing a touchscreen display and supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with MirrorLink.
The powertrain options that will make it into the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift are the 94PS/134Nm 1.4-litre K-series petrol engine and the 90PS/200Nm 1.3-litre diesel motor. We believe the state of tune will not be altered for the new sedan. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift will compete with the likes of the Honda City and the new Hyundai Verna.
