The Italians also confirm the arrival of a plug-in hybrid. That immediately becomes the first hybrid in the history of the brand. With a price tag of around € 200,000, the Lamborghini Urus unequivocally takes the Bentley Bentayga into the vizier. But other luxurious and sporty SUVs, such as the Range Rover, the Porsche Cayenne and Maserati Levante, may look better.
The first is the ability of the urus. That’s much higher than Bentley Bentayga’s. The Urus can count on a pressure-fed V8 with 650 hp. That’s 42 horsepower more than the Bentley SUV. Lamborghini believes this block makes him the fastest SUV in the world, and he will also be able to get offroad off the road. Furthermore, Domenicali has confirmed that a plug-in hybrid version is coming. The ability of that variant will only be released later.
Lamborghini’s second SUV – in the 1980s there was already the LM002 – will be unveiled at the end of the year and will be on the market in early 2018. In Europe he would cost around 200,000 euros.
