The Italian manufacturer Lamborghini has just lifted the veil on the convertible version of the radical Centenario!
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Lamborghini, presented in person the new Centenario Roadster, during the Monterey Car Week 2016. Like the coupe, it is limited to only 20 copies. Italian discoverable costs 2 million euros (HT) or 250,000 euros more than the coupe, but the twenty proposed units would already sold. This “Roadster” sports a stylish silver paint called “Argento Centenario” and resumes powerful high atmospheric V12 engine of 770 horses. Its carbon fiber structure allows to limit the weight and thus to make the exercise of 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds (2.8 seconds for the coupe). Top speed is itself identical, or 350 km / h.
No surprise on the engine, as found under the hood the same atmospheric V12 770 horses on the closed version. If the roadster’s performance have not yet been announced, the cut shades for its 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds for a top speed of 350 km / h, which should be more or less equivalent to the open declination, thanks to its weight / performance ratio of just 2.04 kg / horse. Several driving modes are available, and a system of steering rear wheels shod with 21-inch rims, against 20 in the front.
But with its atmospheric V12 engine capacity of 6,5L to 770 horses, 20 copies for sale by the Italian bull have already all been sold like 20 copies cut elsewhere. You can always console yourself by driving the “beast” in Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One X or Windows on September 27 … in his coupe. Definitely, you will have no chance to get hold of the Topless. Pity.
