2016 marks the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini’s Miura , so it pays tribute to the iconic model with a special edition Aventador.
Dubbed the Aventador Miura Homage, the vehicle was designed by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization division. It comes in the OG Miura colors, including Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal and Blu Tahiti. Each is individually-numbered and comes with 20/21-inch Dione wheels in either matte gold or silver. There’s also Miura-inspired details, including exterior badges and interior stitching.
The special edition comes with 20/21-inch Dione wheels available in either matt gold or silver. A metallic Miura badge on the side and black Lamborghini logo on the rear, together with a limited edition plate positioned inside makes the Aventador Miura Homage a collector’s item.
Lamborghini offers two interior colours in full Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with tone-on-tone stitching and carbon fibre package as standard. The Miura 50th logo is stitched on to the upper part of the seats in gold or silver and the Lamborghini lettering embroidered on the leather dashboard.
Inside there’s a choice of either Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with “tone-on-tone” stitching and a standard carbon fibre package. That logo is stitched into the seats as well, with ‘Lamborghini’ embroidered on the dashboard.
As you might have guessed, Lamborghini will make just 50 Miura Homage Aventadors. We’re told “the majority” have already been sold, so best be quick if you do want one. It will be on display at Goodwood this weekend for a closer look too. Price? Most likely of the “if you have to ask…” variety.
