Not terribly much is different between the roadster and the hardtop. It keeps the naturally aspirated V12 that makes 740 horsepower. It does zero to 62 mph in a claimed three seconds and has an alleged top speed of 217 mph. And it has four-wheel steering.
An engine bridge runs from the back window to the rear of the vehicle, mixing together the body color with matte black painted carbon fiber engine bonnet blades. Buyers can also opt for a transparent rear compartment that shows off the mighty V-12.
“The Aventador S Roadster offers the thrill of open air driving without compromising on driving dynamics or the occupants’ comfort, and adds a further luxurious dimension through the personalization options available.”
The premium for getting an open-air experience in the Aventador S is steep: an extra $38,897 over the coupe. If that’s worth it to you, deliveries start February 2018.
