The XE SV Project 8 was built largely with aluminum. Its 600 horse engine achieves a torque of 700 Nm and the transmission is a Quickshift automatic type with eight ratios. It has full traction and active rear differential, which even has its own oil cooler, allowing the intensive use on the track without suffering problems of cooling.
It equips the “Track Mode” that allows its handling on the track, being the first Jaguar vehicle to own it. It also comes with a vector torque distribution system using the braking system.
It is practically a limited edition for collectors, as it happened some calendars with the Jaguar F-Type Project 7. The colors of paint available for the body are eight in total: two in white, black, red, orange, blue, silver and gray . The production is limited to 300 units and will be offered in four-door version with the special Track Pack, which consists of leaving only the front seats built with carbon fiber reducing the weight of the vehicle at 12.2 kilograms.
The cost for each copy is 170,000 euros, which at the current exchange rate is about 600 million Colombian pesos, due to the construction of the car is completely handmade in the new Technical Center SVO (Special Vehicle Operations), located In Warwickshire, England.
