Google company to open auto show in Detroit

Google, which since 2009 works in autonomous vehicles, will give through its subsidiary Wayme the unofficial kick-off to this traditional meeting that will be open to the public on Saturday 14, after five days reserved for the press and professionals in the sector.

More than 300 exhibitors are announced and among them are new companies that will show products with connected and autonomous technologies designed to ensure easier handling.

The automobile world is gathering today in Detroit, eager for autonomous vehicles but pressured by Donald Trump, who wants cars sold in his country to be made by Americans.

The 29th edition of the Detroit Auto Show is emerging as an emporium of new technologies that are indispensable for tomorrow’s cars.
