Ford has invested more and more in its EcoSport model. Proof of this is that the automaker announced for the second fortnight of August the start of the commercialization of a new line 2018 of the SUV, with new front and interior completely redesigned.
The line includes the SE version for R $ 73,990 with manual transmission and R $ 78,990 with automatic transmission; FreeStyle version manual for $ 81,490 and automatic for $ 86,490, equipped as the new 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine. The Titanium version costs R $ 93,990, exclusively with 2.0 Direct Flex engine and automatic transmission.
Asked by Motor1, Ford says there are no plans to launch any other version of EcoSport and it always tests with other configurations, which end up being approved by Inmetro, but will not necessarily reach the dealerships. However, sources already confirm that the crossover will have a variant with 4×4 traction, scheduled for October.
Asked by iCarros, Ford said that the SE 2.0, Freestyle 2.0 and Titanium 1.5 versions of the EcoSport 2018 will not be released. The brand emphasizes that it makes tests with these different variations and that, not necessarily, they will become production versions.
