Porsche caused a sensation by launching its first sedan in 2009. In 2016, the second generation of the Porsche Panamera comes with great technological innovations. A first teaser picture with a video emerged this week, announcing his presentation June 28, 2016.
The Porsche Panamera combines the performance of a sports car legacy of the 911 and the 918 Spyder with the comfort of a luxury sedan. The new models will be available with the launch control, the direction of the rear axle and a new sports exhaust system.
The Panamera II will take his first walkabout in public at the Paris Motor Show (from 1 to 16 October 2016). It will subsequently declined in wagon body, current 2017, as announced by the Panamera Sport Turismo concept in 2012. That may reassure those worried of the growing importance of the SUV in the range of the German manufacturer.
Looking back on the past of its founder Ferdinand Porsche and the design of the first functional hybrid car Lohner-Porsche Semper Vivus in 1899, the manufacturer implies a petrol-electric version renewed – mid-2017 at best – while the current hybrid Panamera offers 416 horsepower and 580 nm to 3.1 l / 100 km average theoretical consumption.
The electric variant, suggested by the concept car of Mission E Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, should land current 2019, with 500 km of autonomy and 600 horsepower promised by the prototype.
