According to the Italian brand, the Cronos will be built on a new platform, called MP-S (Modular Platform Sedan), designed for the model and intended exclusively for production in Argentina. Fiat adds that the platform was developed to “respond to the dynamic and constructive demands of a three-volume car.”
The engines will be the same as the Argo; that is to say, that it will be offered with two naphthal options, a 1.3 liter of 99 horsepower and another of 1.8 and 130 hp. The available transmissions will be five-speed manual and six-speed automatic.
From the brand, they highlighted that Cronos was developed 100% in Latin America and will be manufactured exclusively in the Ferreyra plant in Cordoba. Even, that is based on a new platform, the MPS. From there it will be exported to the entire region.
