California T, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2014, will be pulled out from production. It was the updated version of the Ferrari California which was introduced in the market in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show.
The powerplant has been massaged, with new pistons, con-rods and a new intake system design, while exhaust geometries have been “revolutionised”. A new one-piece-cast exhaust header reduces losses and ensures zero turbo lag.
Ferrari’s local chief will lead “a large contingent of clients” to Italy’s Portofino in coming weeks for an exclusive look at its namesake. Some are already Ferrari customers, some are new to the brand and all will pay their own way to see the car on the other side of the world.
