The Datsun Redi-Go small car may be small in size but the company says it is the tallest car for the taller people. Already the car pre-launch bookings for the car is in progress. The Redi-Go is the termed as the competitor for the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Eon, and Renault Kwid.
Aside from sharing the same CMF-A platform as the Kwid, the redi-GO also gets the same engine. The 800cc mill churns out 54PS of power and 72Nm of torque. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, Datsun claim the redi-GO will return 25.17kmpl.
Datsun is all set to launch its latest offering the redi-Go in India on June 7, 2016. However, the starting prices of the upcoming redi-Go is already out. The official website has listed the price of the entry-level model at Rs 2.39 lakh in India which is in-line with the company’s plan of pricing it in the Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh bracket.
The highlights of the upcoming Datsun redi-Go, according to Datsun, is its unique styling and higher ground clearance. Also, the cabin features comparatively premium options compared to the Go siblings.
Datsun will launch the new redi-GO Urban Cross in the Indian car market on June 7, 2016. Ahead of its launch, the price of the small car has already been leaked on the web. Priced at INR 2.39 lakh, the Urban Cross will be made available in five variants. The variant wise features details of the vehicle have also been leaked on the web.
