The recharge time is announced between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm on a regular domestic outlet (at 8 A or 10 A depending on the country) or secure “Green Up” (at 14 A). A fast charging mode, available as an option, allows it to regain 50% of the battery capacity in 15 min or 80% in 30 min.
This purely marketing performance is above all an opportunity to discover a new electric car in the Citroën range for private customers. The new E-Berlingo Multispace enriches Citroën’s electric offering with the C-Zero and the E-MEHARI. Cars which, in their respective segments, are overtaken by competition in terms of autonomy.
Several charging modes are available. A standard charge on a household socket of 8 or 10A requires between 8:30 and 15:00. As an option, a quick recharge allows to recover 50% of the autonomy in 15 min and 80% in 30 minutes.
After the 2013 version for professionals, the e-Berlingo Multispace 2017 is for families. Fully electric with a range of 170 kilometers, the Citroën e-Berlingo deploys a power of 49 kW or about 67 horsepower and has the same traction chain as the Citroen Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Citroën C-Zero. Finally, its engine is powered by two packs of lithium-ion batteries.’
