After releasing some images of his future WRC, Citroën Racing is a little bit more detail on the nature of the tests.
The first few laps of the new Citroën WRC have actually held on Saturday April 9 at Versailles, on the small circuit located close to Citroën Racing. Alexandre Bengué, the pilot of the team trials, was responsible for conducting the first kilometers. The following Monday, it’s Kris Meeke who took the relay, in the same place.
Like the C4 Picasso and C4 Cactus, it takes this double look with daytime running lights positioned high enough purpose and complemented by larger optical below. As to the rafters, they stretch between the daytime running lights. The rest of this strategic city for the brand seems to have a more traditional profile, less round than the current C3, showing the current design codes developed by Alexandre Malval.
Under the hood of the “C3” WRC 2017, we find the 4-cylinder 1.6 turbo direct injection equipped with a 36 mm flange that team is the C-Elysée WTCC. With 380 hp, the drivers will be able to give heart to joy, especially as the regulatory minimum weight is reduced by 25 kg and the AWD is now equipped with a center differential improving traction, like in old times ! A new adventure begins for Citroën Racing.
