Looking to take on the outdoors, but do so with a luxurious approach? Well today the good folks over at Bentley are back, offering up a stunning and lavish way to experience the outdoors. Today we get a look at the Bentley Bentayga Fly Fishing Edition, pairing together Bentley’s luxurious automobiles with one of the most timeless and iconic pastimes, fly fishing. The Bentley Bentayga Fly Fishing Edition boasts a 600 hp, 6.0L W12 engine, eight driving modes, and air suspension, while rocking stunning attention to detail throughout.
The Bentley Bentayga was fitted by Mulliner with all the equipment a fly fisher would need for a day on the river.
Within the vehicle, fly fishers can store up to four rods in protective tube cases trimmed in saddle leather with linen cross-stitching. A pair of nets in matching leather bags are also stored in a carpet-lined pocket in the side of the Bentayga’s trunk.
The fishing set is entirely removable for when the driver doesn’t need the kit, although the fitted parts still mark out the fly fishing edition Bentayga out from its standard counterparts. Bentley and Mulliner identified fly fishing as an area of interest for the Bentayga demographic, but wouldn’t rule out a similar style pack for other outdoor pursuits, depending on the amount of demand. Mulliner’s on-demand service leaves the scope wide open, though.
There’s no limit on production because the edition is built to order. It’s available to order immediately, although waiting times are subject to build times as well on top of the waiting list for the standard, £160,000 Bentayga.
