Audi has decided to put her first steps on rear-wheel drive since the Middle Ages or so. The Auri R8 RWS – which stands for the Rear Wheel Series – is a hand-crafted limited series of boys from Ingolstadt.
Audi now sets off the opposite road with its Audi R8. That model was always four-wheel driven, but that technique has been hung for the first time for the willows. The Audi R8 V10 RWS has a rear-wheel drive. It’s all about you – a limited edition in a 999 edition. The R8 RWS (Rear Wheel Series) comes as Coupé and Spyder and is manually built in the Böllinger Höfe R8 factory.
The R8 V10 RWS, like its four-wheel drive, comes with 540 hp. He weighs about 50 kilos less, which gives a spurt to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds. Or one tenth more if you choose the Spyder, you can also order RWS as soon as possible. With that open variant, the difference in weight between four and rear wheel drive is 40 kilos.
The R8 RWS is distinguished by black 19-inch wheels and matt black grille and air intakes. A red striping over the entire length is optional. The sports chairs are made in a combination of leather and Alcantara. Kuipstoelen are optional. A ‘1 or 999’ logo has been placed on the dashboard.
