If it is not yet known in what proportions the model of series will inherit the design of the concept, it is certain that the front face of the SUV will cut more frankly of the front of the saloons and sporting brand.
This photo shows the Q8 Concept alongside the concept Prologue, which, as a reminder, announces the design of the future A8, A7 and A6. If we compare the front faces, we notice a three-dimensional Single-Frame calender with vertical strips that takes its ease on the Q8 Concept, which is also now octagonal.
To see the model series, it will still have to be patient. But Audi ends the rumors: there will be a competitor to the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe, and it will be called Q8. It is a safe bet that this one will make small afterwards, taking again the same nomenclature range. Thus, the Q4 and Q6 will be the respective Cutoffs of Q3 and Q5.
Marc Lichte, who has been responsible for designing the ring brand for more than two years now, had promised: the design of the Audi will evolve. Although the design has evolved progressively with the concepts Prologue and e-tron Quattro Concept, this Q8 Concept pushes the nail and stands out even more of the manufacturer’s current productions.
