The Audi Q8 is above all a response story. An answer to BMW, which has been busy for several years with its X6, and a response to Mercedes with its GLE Coupe, and even to Range Rover with the latest Velar. A big luxury SUV is good, but a cut and more dynamic version is even better, and it will be precisely the role of the Q8, kind of Q7 coupe, in the months to come.
If nothing is officially confirmed by the Bavarian automotive company this future hybrid version should combine the V6 3.0 L TFSI with an electric motor for a combined power that is estimated to be between 450 and 475 hp.
Based on the MQB platform of Seat Ateca, Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Karoq, the Audi Q3 will count on 3 and 4 cylinders to move. We also expect a hybrid version e-tron quattro rechargeable, as on the A3. On the other hand, we can ask ourselves the question of the renewal of the ultrasportive version RS Q3, which has the block 5 cylinders 2.5 TFSI common with the RS 3 and TT RS.
This new SUV from Ingolstadt will use the M7 Evo platform of the Q7 and will benefit from the engines and technologies of the latter and also those of the Audi A8.
