After Vanquish Zagato Coupe, presented at Villa d’Este in June, Aston Martin is back and unveiled its Volante at Pebble Beach. As an answer to Lamborghini and its Centenario Roadster, the beautiful Italian also has a roof disappear, not diminishing anything its seductive potential. Like its Italian rival, it retains the same aesthetic characteristics as the closed version, including the grille, round LED daytime running lights or the tapered rear.
Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and luxurious, with leather and carbon fiber everywhere, from the upholstery to the center console.
The Volante takes the specificities of the coupé radiator grille with daytime running lights round fully LED, the low windshield and sloping, but the back part which has an impressive diffuser and four tailpipes.
Last May, Aston Martin and Zagato caused a sensation at the Villa d’Este presenting their latest joint creation: the Vanquish Zagato. In agreement with the British manufacturer the Italian coachbuilder had managed to magnify the line of beautiful Vanquish.
It is now in California they present the convertible version of their creation. A model we very subjectively describe as sublime and will be limited to 99 copies. Still powered by the V12 pushed to 600 horsepower, the Vanquish Volante Zagato will enter production in 2017.
