Aston Martin and Zagato coachbuilder transalpine prepared for the Concours d’Elegance which is being held in Pebble Beach, California, a declination “Volante” Vanquish Coupe Zagato presented at Villa d’Este in May.
The British manufacturer and transalpine bodybuilder continue here a fruitful collaboration started in the 60s, and marked by four cut patterns that are the DB4 GT Zagato (1960), V8 Vantage Zagato (1986), DB7 Vantage Zagato (2002) and V12 Vantage Zagato (2011), and discoverable by two realizations: V8 Vantage Volante’s (1987) and DB AR1 (prepared in 2003 around the DB7).
A Zagato Vanquish which will land in another contest of elegance, that of Pebble Beach, and this in a new version since this is the Volante, Aston Martin name given to the convertible versions. It takes away the roof but retains its peculiar aesthetic signed by the Italian coachbuilder master and extended the 6 liter V12 that develops 600 horsepower, which allows it to display just under 4 sec at 0 to 100 km / h.
Like the Coupé version, this version of the Vanquish Volante Zagato will be produced only 99 copies to be delivered from 2017.
