Together with the Belgian Mercedes importer, Autoworld sought a nice collection of AMGs. In total, you can go to 15 models at the exhibition. Of course, the 300 SEL with which it all began, and the first production model that emerged from the collaboration: the C36 AMG from 1995. Of course, the imposing SLS AMG of 2010 can not be missed. A grip of the current AMG offer is of course also, including the giant Mercedes-AMG S63 Convertible.
The exhibition “AMG 50th Anniversary” runs from 9 September to 1 October in Autoworld in the Brussels Jubilee Park.
It started for AMG all with the AMG 300 SEL 6.8, an impressive machine that became first in its category during the 24 hours of Francorchamps and second ended in the overall ranking in 1971. Only in 1990 AMG officially collapsed with Mercedes-Benz. In 1999, the company became officially owned by the brand with the star.
