After a solid eighteen months of waiting, Honda has made the pricing of the NSX official. The company has also revealed the features and the technical specifications of this superfast sports car that enticed many auto lovers. A full-fledged launch for the car is slated to take place this autumn. The representatives of the company have confirmed that the NSX will be priced somewhere around the £130,000. Definitely not the one that a budget conscious buyer should go for and this car was never meant to be the average commuters’ choice.
For now, we can only guess what races the Acura NSX GT3’s going to be jumping into. Acura will only say the car’s being used in North America, without supplying any details. Considering it was built to FIA GT3 standards, it’s not a stretch for Acura to enter it into events around the globe.
The engine is paired with a six-speed, sequential-shift racing gearbox, delivering power to the rear wheels.
The Acura NSX GT3 is produced by the Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, the exclusive manufacturing home for the new Acura NSX.
Its twin turbocharged V6 engine is also assembled in Ohio.
Initial development of the NSX GT3 racecar was conducted by the company’s Japan race engineering arm with testing on race circuits in Europe and Japan.
