Although Jeep has officially shown us the off-road SUV, the brand won’t dish out all the details until its official reveal at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 29. However, the images tell a story of evolution, not revolution, for the incredibly popular off-roader.
While the American off-road brand hasn’t given away any technical details of the new model, other than to say it has “advanced fuel-efficient powertrains”, TMR previously reported that leaked information indicated there would be a choice of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol, 3.6-litre V6 petrol and 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engines. The leaked information also claims the Scrambler name returns to sit alongside Sahara and Rubicon.
According to insiders, the power range of the new Jeep Wrangler will present petrol units, but there is a possibility that it will include a hybrid setup. In addition, the SUV can get the 3.6-liter engine Pentastar turbocharged, operating on diesel fuel.
The new Jeep Wrangler will have its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of November.
