2017 Renault Megane Sedan revealed


Just like the Megane Hatch and Estate, the Sedan gets two petrol engines, one with 115 hp and another with 130 hp, aside from a bunch of diesel options. Depending on the engine choice, a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic are available.

Depending on trim level, features include a 7-inch colour TFT digital counter, an 8.7-inch I-surface multimedia tablet, a colour head-up display and more.

The boot now offers 508lt of capacity, with the company adding a hands-free Easy Trunk Access system. The rest of the car is pretty much standard Megane, meaning the same underpinnings and tech features with the other two bodystyles.

The cabin is the same and includes a seven-inch color TFT display in the driver’s gauges with the dashboard hosting an 8.7-inch portrait-style R-Link 2 infotainment system. Every bit of safety kit first seen on the hatchback and estate model will also be offered here.
