It as just last month that the new Peugeot 3008 was revealed, turning from a bit of an ugly duckling MPV in to a promising urban SUV. And now, even though you can’t actually order one until November, the new 3008 range is being extended.
To top the new 3008 range you’ll be able to buy the 3008 GT – a car Peugeot say ‘Crowns’ the new SUV range – which will come with the 2.0 litre BlueHDi 180 diesel engine and Peugeot’s EAT6 auto ‘box.
The GT-Line brings a similar array of visual enhancements as the GT, only it’s only available with the lower-powered engine packages. Even still, it comes with full LED lights, the GT grille, and a Black Diamond roof as standard. Instead of the 19-inch wheels it comes with similarly-styled 18-inch two-tone items.
If Peugeot head office in France signs-off on it, expect to see the Peugeot 3008 GT offerings in Australia at some stage early next year.
We will keep in touch with Peugeot and bring you more news as it becomes available.
