All models in the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee range get a skinnier version of the trademark seven-slot Jeep grille, new bumpers and new LED fog lights. There are also new 18 and 20 inch wheels in addition to six new exterior colours, bringing the total 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee colour palette to 11.
Jeep has also taken the opportunity to give the 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine a re-tune – this ups the engines power output to 213kW (from 210kW) and improves economy by 4%.
Both the rear-wheel drive V6 petrol and all-wheel drive V6 turbo-diesel also receive an updated Gen II version of the eight-speed automatic transmission, which the company says improves shift quality, drivability and durability.
Like all new Jeep models, the Grand Cherokee range is offered with the company’s ‘There and Back Guarantee’ five-year warranty, along with lifetime roadside assistance and capped-price servicing.
